About the Recipe
This quiche recipe is a blank slate. Make sure to saute any vegetables beforehand. Any added protein should be cooked beforehand. This recipe is a great way to use leftover meats and veggies!
Ingredients
4 Eggs
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
Pie Crust
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
1/2 cup Whole Milk
1/2 cup cheese (like gouda)
Choice of fillings (we used mushrooms, spinach, and bacon)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425
Prebake pie crust for 8-10 minutes, or until light brown
Beat 4 eggs until homogenous
Add heavy cream and whole milk
Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg
Add cheese and fillings (we used mushrooms, spinach, bacon)
Pour mixture into pie crusts
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until filling sets and is golden brown around edges
