About the Recipe
Grinding your own meat always leads to a better product. Remember to cube and chill your meat before grinding! You can also try different meat combinations!

Ingredients
2 lb Beef (80/20 ground, or chuck/brisket if grinding your own) \
Salt
Onion (optional)
Buns and condiments
Preparation
Grind beef
Mix beef with salt, about 1 tsp per pound
Shape into billiard ball-sized balls
Heat griddle/pan to medium high
Lightly oil pan, place beef ball in, smash flat with spatula (if using onion, slice thinly and place on patty before smashing)
Cook until well-browned, flip and cook until finished, about 2-4 minutes a side
Serve on bun with desired condiments
